New York...







O que falar sobre "Living Colour", uma mega banda que vem somar o groove ao rock'n roll...
Fundada em Nova York, em 1983, pelo britânico Reid, a banda interrompeu atividades em meados dos anos 90. O jejum acabou no começo do século 21, e em 2003 eles lançaram o disco mais recente, Collideøscope. De lá para cá, o grupo divide o tempo com projetos solo de seus integrantes. "Estamos preparando [o disco] por alguns anos já, ora sim, ora não. Entre números, passagens de som, indo a diversos estúdios, catalogando e decidindo o que vamos usar", disse Glover (...) 


No ano de 1991 aconteceu o "Hollywood Rock", eu estava em estúdio gravando meu trabalho no momento do show. Bom, eu no estudio 2 e a De Sá no 1 da BMG Ariola e tudo parou para irmos para a Apoteose assistir ao show... Sem palavras para definir o carísma da Banda e a humildade!!!
Queria muito deixar claro que a idéia de "vaidade musical" com eles não existe!!!

What to say about "Living Colour",a super band that comes to mix the groove with the rock'n roll... 

This band has born in New York, in 1983, by the British Reid, unfortunately the band interrupted its activities in the midle of the 90. The time of fasting stopped in the beginning of the 21 century, and in 2003 they starring the  most recently album Collideøscope. From there, the group decided to share the time with some solo projects of theirs components.
"We are preparing [a album] for so many years, sometimes yes, sometimes not. Between numbers,  soundchecks, going to so many studios, selecting and deciding what to use," said Glover (...)


In 1991 happened the "Hollywood Rock", I was in a studio recording my album at the same moment of the show. Well, I was in the studio 2 and De Sá in the 1 in BMG Ariola, and everything just stopped for us to be there...
I have no words to describe the charisma and the humility of the band!!!
I'd love to made it clear that the idea of "musical vanity" do not exist with them!!!
