Temos que abolir esta idéia que Dj não é músico, pois eles somam muito não só ao hip hop como a MPB... Vários "artístas" já colocam em suas bandas. Uma das melhores produções que já ouvi até hoje no pop music foi a do Dj Memê no CD do Lulu Santos, e com esta produção ele conseguiu atingir pela 1ª vêz um disco de ouro (BMG Ariola 1995).

Para a jornalista Claudia Assef, autora do livro Todo DJ já sambou, embora
existam professores informais do assunto, a novidade é que finalmente uma faculdade de prestígio como a Berklee admitiu que a arte do DJ é digna de estudo: "Stephen conseguiu provar que discotecar não é uma bobagem".
Ex-alunos da universidade de Berklee, entre os quais Quincy Jones, Diana
Krall e Branford Marsalis, conquistaram um total de 99 Grammys. O Brasil
está entre os cinco países com presença mais marcante no corpo discente da faculdade. O cantor brasileiro Jair Oliveira, um dos que se formaram na
instituição, louva a iniciativa:
"Acho excelente. O DJ não é mais um marginal, muitos deles se transformaram
em estrelas da música pop".

We should take of the idea that the Dj isn't a musician, cause they plus not just for the hip hop, but to MPB, too ... There are so many "artists"working with then in theirs bands. One of the best productions, that I've already listen to, instead today on the pop scene, had been done by Dj Memê on Lulu Santos' CD; And with this production, he get for the first time a golden album by BMG Ariola in 1995 ( Eu e Memê, Memê e eu).

OBS: Só para frizar que comecei minha carreira como modelo aos 4 anos de idade e desde lá que conheço bem o trabalho de um Dj, pois sem eles não haveriam desfiles, e agora que estam sendo implantados a banda junto a eles em desfiles, posso citar o "OI Fashion Rock" e o
Dj Zé Pedro que pilota os maiores desfiles do Brasil e do Mundo
OBS: Just to reforce the idea, I began my carrear as a model when I was 4 years old, and since then, I realized that DJ's job is so necessary, cause without then the Fashion Shows would not be the same, as we know just now bands are being used in the runaways and Fashion events like "Oi Fashion Rocks."
Dj Zé Pedro is the best pick up pilot on Brazilian Catwalks as all over the world.
